Submit VAT Returns Online
To submit your VAT retuns online you must register to do this via the HM Revenue & Customs website. Follow the steps below for registering online VAT returns:

Next, you will be required to enter details about your VAT registration. These details are:

Online Banking
Sort code: 08 32 00
Account: 11963155
Account name: HMRC VAT
You must give your VAT registration number as the reference number. This is made up of nine digits, for example 123456789. When making payment it is important that you show your registration number with no gaps between the characters otherwise there could be a delay in updating your record.
By Post
From 1st April 2010, all Vat registered businesses are required to file and pay their VAT online. It is therefore not possible to pay via post unless it is a special circumstance and you will be notified by HMRC when this is possible. The most convenient way to pay VAT online is to set up a direct debit which can be done through your online account with HMRC.
